Fasten off and weave in ends.

Attach yarn in SC on the inside of the heart.

Repeat above steps to create the second lobe of the heart.

Don't cut your yarn just yet!

To create the border around the heart, SC all the way around your heart. When you get to the bottom of the heart (where the point should be, our original 3 SC's), SC in the first stitch, SC 3 in the middle stitch, and SC 1 in the next stitch. Continue to SC around the heart until you make it all the way around to where you started. Slip stitch into the first SC. Fasten off and weave in ends.

To attach the heart to the bum of your pants:

Cut off a long piece of pink yarn and thread it with your darning needle. Center your heart on the back of your pants and sew it into place with the pink yarn.

To make this easier, I used bobby pins to hold my heart in place.

I sewed around the border we just created so that I would sew over two SC's on the top of the heart, skip one SC (on the inside of the pants), and then sew over two more SC's.

Knot the pink yarn on the inside to secure it and fasten off and weave in your ends. All done!

Round 17: Ch 1. SC in each stitch around. Join to first SC.

Round 18: Repeat row 17.

Round 19: Slip stitch in each stitch all the way around.

Fasten off and weave in ends.

DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE SEAM FROM THE HDC'S. We're about to fix it!

Heart Pattern:

Switch to 4 mm crochet hook.

We're going to be using the same heart pattern that we used for the pants.

Work the heart pattern above until you have 17 SC's.

Work 3 rows of 1 SC in each stitch across. (17)

Heart Part One:

Ch 1 and turn. SC in next 8 stitches. (8)

Ch 1 and turn. SC in each stitch across. (8)

Ch 1 and turn. Decrease, SC in next 4 stitches, decrease. (6)

Ch 1 and turn. Decrease, SC in next 2 stitches, decrease. (4)

Ch 1 and turn. Decrease, decrease.

Fasten off.

Reattach yarn on the inside of the heart, leaving one unworked SC in-between the "lobes" of the heart.

Repeat steps for Heart Part One.

Create the border around the heart just like we did in the heart pattern above.

Fasten off yarn and weave in ends.

Place the heart over the "seam" on the back of your heart. Position the heart any way you like. I attached mine so that it is a bit slanted. Thread your pink yarn and sew the heart on using the same method we used to sew the heart onto the pants.

And...

You're done! <3
